Students of our school won good results in the 7th National University Intelligent Transportation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

Our school’s School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering excelled at the 7th National University Intelligent Transportation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, held on July 8, 2023 at North China University of Technology, where they competed against 71 universities and 210 entries. The theme of the competition was “Intelligent Traffic” and the event was sponsored by the Chinese Society of Automation Institute, the National University Traffic Equipment and Control Engineering Alliance, the China Highway Association, and the China Intelligent Transportation Association Youth Experts Working Committee of North University of Technology. The School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering proudly recommended more than 50 innovative works created by their graduate students.Among them, the graduate track work "Private Parking Space Sharing Method based on Improving BP Neural Network" (instructors: Shi Qin, Guo Liquan; Design: Hou Weilin, Zhang Xiaonan, Liang Jixiang, Gui Jingkang, Xing Hongye) entered the final and won the second prize, "Collaborative Control of Traffic Flow of Mixed Vehicles in confluence Zone of Network Environmental Expressway" (Instructor: Ding Heng; Design: Zhang Lang, Zhao Zhengrui, Meng Yuanhao, Sun Yuan) won the third prize; Undergraduate track work "Intersection Traffic Parameter Extraction and Conflict Analysis based on UAV Aerial Video" (Instructor: Ding Heng; Design: Chen Xinyu, Wang Qiaoxia, Huang Yujie, Zhang Lihong, Yang Hongru) entered the final and won the second prize, Uav Distribution and Dispatching System Based on VI and SLAM Technology from the Perspective of Smart and Green Logistics " (Instructor: Dong Mansheng, Du Haibo; Design: Xie Qilong, Huang Shihao, Wu Xian, Dong Lei, Zou Shanyi) won the third prize.
